Swaha: Rituals of Union

A reflection on a pillar of Sanatam Dharma- the human spirit’s search for eternal connection with the Omnipresent Source. The dance theater’s work draws on solo movements based on ancient temple practice and postmodern choreography for the ensemble set to the lyrics/chants of traditional hymns of classical North Indian and Indian inspired new age music.

Guna: Light, Passion, Chaos (AS A COLLECTIVE) 

Explores the nature of creation and evolution through interpretating the three qualities in Samkhya philosophy: Sattva (preservation), Rajas (creation) and Tamas (dissolution).   Guna featured 3 interpretative dances reflecting the essence of a particular quality. It is believed when the embodied one transcends these three gunas, the soul is released from the pain of birth, death and age.
