About Collaborations & Community

Trinayan Collaborations, our community outreach division, was established in 2008 and is dedicated to the promotion of Odissi dance and related arts through master workshops with renowned artists, dance classes for the community, and creative programming including our new Vasantha Open House Series to continue the global awareness of Odissi dance. Our community programs aim to connect eminent, established, and emerging artists with the NYC community facilitating a forum of interacting and experiencing the diversity within Odissi dance and other dance genres.  To date we held several master workshops with Guru Durga Charan Ranbir (Nrutyayan), Smt. Sujata Mohapatra, Guru Ramli Ibrahim (Sutra Dance Theater), Smt. Leena Mohanty (Trinayan Dance Theater), Smt. Jyoti Srivatstava (Vaishalikalakendra), Guru Ratikant Mohapatra (Srjan), Smt. Rajika Puri (Rajika Puri & Dancers) and yoga master, Guru Srivatsa Ramaswami (Vinayasa Krama).  Please see our Events page for upcoming 2011 events.
